Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon SR_A Carbon Edition by Samuel Ross

Hublot and artist-designer Samuel Ross continue their innovative partnership with the Big Bang Tourbillon SR_A Carbon Edition. Known for its bold, architectural design, this latest release reimagines the watch in lightweight carbon fiber with a striking blue color scheme.

The collaboration between Hublot and Ross began in 2020, inspired by Ross’s REFORM sculpture created for Hublot’s 40th anniversary. This marks their third project, following vibrant orange and green editions. Retaining its distinctive 44mm diameter and 13.75mm thickness, the Carbon Edition combines titanium with frosted gray carbon for a visually dynamic, aerodynamic case featuring a honeycomb theme throughout.

The vibrant blue accents extend across the crown, strap, and hexagonal lattice dial. The dial features six luminous hour markers set on a sapphire chapter ring, with three in blue. At 6 o’clock, the tourbillon regulator showcases Hublot’s technical prowess, while a micro-rotor at 12 o’clock balances the composition.

The in-house automatic caliber HUB6035 powers the watch. Comprising 282 components, it offers a 72-hour power reserve and features a honeycomb-perforated backplate. The front side, however, steals the spotlight with its intricate open-worked design.
