Happiness belongs to those who know how to welcome and celebrate it. The Swiss Luxury Watchmaker celebrated its 186th year with three novelties presented during SIHH 2016: The Clifton Chronographe Calendrier Complet, Capeland Shelby® Cobra and Petite Promesse
The brand seems to be keeping its strong price vs performance asset with a rich variety of novelties.
The first series presented during SIHH 2016 was the re-newed Clifton Collection. Created through the “ master craftsman “ theme, the new models feature a great combination of highest craftsmanship and the art of watch making with complications like chronograph and calendar.
Three models created in different styles with same technical specifications.
Beside the all stainless steel version, there is also a leather strap option as well. For those who appreciate more sophisticated models, there is a third version with a little touch of gold.
Full calendar feature beside the 30 minutes chronograph timer makes the watch quite useful. The moon phase indicator at 6 o’clock boosts the wrist presence of the watch nicely. The Valjoux 7751 based automatic chronograph movement which offers 48h power reserve, can be seen through the transparent case back.

The second novelty of the brand was the Capeland Collection. The Capeland Shelby Cobra Limited Edition ( which we recently reviewed at Horobox ) offered a new version with a new color combination with the motto “ moments of passion “.
This new model tributes to the a iconic 1963 Shelby 289 Cobra Roadster Le Mans Racing Car with No.15 raced with great success and made Caroll Shelby’s dream came true.
The watch is offered in two versions with different color combinations. 44mm stainless steel case offers WR50M water resistance and houses the Valjoux 7753 based automatic chronograph movement.

The last novelty of the brand came from the Promesse Collection.
The Petite Promesse is offered in three different versions with quartz movements. One of the most remarkable novelties in women’s watches, Petite Promesse seems to be a very good alternative with it’s beautiful designs and nice prices.
