Bremont updates its Altitude MB Meteor model, which merges British aviation heritage with Martin-Baker ejection seat technology, by featuring the character Felix the Cat. Introduced with the aviation terminology "Watch Your Six," this timepiece stands out with its 42mm Grade 2 titanium case featuring the brand's signature Trip-Tick construction. The case utilizes a black DLC finish, while the knurled middle barrel component reinforces the model's industrial character. The watch is engineered to withstand the extreme shock and pressure tests identical to those undergone by Martin-Baker ejection seats.
On the movement side, the BB14-AH automatic caliber is in operation. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph, this movement provides a 68-hour power reserve. The mechanism is kept under high anti-magnetic protection via a soft iron ring based on Faraday Cage principles. Additionally, a flexible rubber shock-absorbing mount system isolates the movement from external impacts. Through the sapphire crystal case back, gunmetal grey finished components and the rotor decorated with Geneva stripes can be observed.
The dial features applied Arabic numerals and hands filled with Super-LumiNova on a matte black galvanic base. The Felix the Cat figure is depicted running away with the number 6. The internal Roto-Click bezel, controlled via the crown at 4 o'clock, allows for bidirectional calculations for pilots. The seconds hand draws attention with its yellow-and-black striped tip, referencing the ejection pull handle of Martin-Baker seats. The watch offers 100 meters of water resistance and is limited to 500 pieces, available with a titanium bracelet or leather strap options.
