We believe we are safe to say that the all black dials are being replaced in favor of blue ones. Having a great Naval history, Panerai introduced four new models with blue dials which is a color rarely seen on Panerai dials. Let’s have a close look at those new models before they hit the stores.
Undoubtedly the most striking model is the PAM00690. Presenting a stunning look with its blue dial housed by the 47mm diameter stainless steel Radiomir 1940, PAM00690 offers a balanced harmony of hour indices and hands. Powered by the 3 days power reserve Caliber Ref. P.9000, PAM00690 is limited to 500 pieces only and offered with a MSRP of 8900 EUR.
The second model is the PAM00689. Considered as the blue dial version of the current PAM00533, the new timepiece features the 10 day power reserve movement Caliber Ref. P.2003. PAM00689 sports the Panerai classic horizontal power reserve indicator and a GMT module. Limited to 300 pieces only, PAM00689 is retailed at 13.000 EUR.
Another blue dial novelty from Panerai is the PAM00659. Sharing the same features with PAM00689 except the case and the movement, PAM00659 is differentiated at the first glance with its 45mm case made of 18K rose gold. The decorative details of the movement Caliber Ref.P.2003/10 is worth watching from the sapphire display caseback. The watch is offered with 35.000 EUR price tag and limited to 200 pieces only.
Panerai did not forget the compact size admirers and issued the PAM00688 with the 42mm Luminor 1950 sporting and ideal size for almost any wrist size. The model is powered with the 3 days power reserve GMT function movement Caliber Ref. P.9001. The new timepiece is offered for 8400 EUR and limited to 300 pieces only.
