Panerai introduced a pair new Luminor Marina references, in 42mm and 44mm, with a new silver colored dial and with a stainless steel bracelet.
The Submersible model family, which has become a collection of its own as announced in this year’s SIHH, expanded with two new versions. The models, which are presented in stainless steel cases and powered by the manufacture automatic Caliber P. 9010 movement, attract attention with their new dial colors and the characteristic Panerai style metal bracelets that gather the enthusiasts of the brand to different poles.
The new PAM00977 comes with a 42mm diameter case, while the other model PAM00978 comes with a 44mm diameter case. 42mm model is water resistant to 100 meters / 10 bar while the 44m version is a more suitable candidate to be called a diver’s watch with its 300 meters / 30 bar water resistance rating.
Both models shine with their brand new silver dials. The small second’s counter from the signature detail of Panerai is located at 9 o’clock and the date display window is place in its usual position at 3 o’clock. 44mm model’s dial features the hour marker at 9 together with the small second’s counter while the 42mm version only sports the subsidiary second’s counter.
The two new timepieces are offered on the brand’s uniquely designed metal bracelets. The stainless steel bracelets are secured by Panerai signed folding clasps.
Retail Prices are €8200 (PAM00977), €8300 (PAM00978).
