Min. ReadProducer Lewis Hamilton has secured unprecedented access to the paddock for the Apple+ movie F1, but until now, no surprising watches had been seen on the film's stars. That changed today when Brad Pitt was spotted wearing a vintage IWC Ingenieur with a green dial, a model that doesn't officially exist.

Sources confirm that Pitt's watch is an IWC Ingenieur “Jumbo” SL Automatic ref. 1832 from 1976 with a custom green dial. This could mean it’s either a unique commission for Pitt, aligning with the IWC-themed production, or a meticulous creation by the prop department.

This custom IWC Ingenieur may signal the next chapter in Pitt's watch-collecting journey, focusing on more personal and unique pieces.
In the movie, racing legend Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) is lured out of retirement to lead a struggling Formula 1 team and mentor a young driver (Damson Idris) while chasing one last shot at glory. Filmed during actual Grand Prix weekends, the movie portrays intense competition against the sport's giants.
F1 is set to hit cinemas in the summer of 2025.
