Bulgari was another brand that presented its novelties to watch enthusiasts during the LVMH Watch Week 2021. In addition to the brand new Octo Finissimo models, there is also a high-end timepiece sporting Tourbillon and Minute Repeater complications.
The new model is home to the first blue sunray patterned dial that the brand added to the Octo Collection. The 43mm diameter and 8.75mm thick stainless steel case is accompanied by a metal bracelet produced in the same matte form as the case. The case with sapphire crystals on both sides is resistant to water pressure up to 100 meters. The blue dial of the model has three silver-finished sub-dials. The second time zone feature can be read through the sub-dial located at 3 o'clock. The model includes the Caliber BVL 318 movement, which the brand designed and produced in-house. The automatic movement, which is designed with a thickness of only 3.30mm, offers 55 hours of power reserve when fully wound, and can be viewed through the transparent case back.
Among the new models is the Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Titanium. The new version comes with an updated dial and a rubber strap. This model is also home to the brand's first glossy opaline dial. It comes in a 42mm diameter and 6.90mm thick case made of titanium. The case, which can withstand 30 meters of water pressure, has sapphire crystals on both sides. In addition to its lightness, the new model, powered by the Caliber BVL 318, offers both a modern and sporty appearance with its new textured rubber strap.
Octo Finissimo S, which is among the novelties, draws attention with its monochrome color palette. Designed in a diameter of 40mm and made of matte stainless steel, the case offers perfect harmony with the dial that stands out with its metallic gray color and vertically brushed surface form. Sapphire crystals are used on the front and back of the case, which is resistant to 100 meters of water pressure. The model includes the Caliber BVL 138, which was designed and produced in-house. Micro-rotor automatic movement offers 60 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
Octo Roma Carillon Tourbillon is the flagship of the Bulgari novelties introduced at LVMH Watch Week 2021. The new model comes in a modular case with a diameter of 44mm. The case is home to a DLC coated matte titanium middle case, a matte black ceramic bezel, and a winding crown made of 18K white gold as well as a Minute Repeater control pusher. The model, which has an industrial look perforated dial, is powered by the Caliber BVL428, developed and produced by the brand in-house. The hand-wound movement operating at a frequency of 3Hz (21.600vph) consists of 432 components in total. Apart from the timekeeping function, the movement also features the Tourbillon and the Minute Repeater with Chimes Of Westminster melody, while offering a power reserve of 75 hours when fully wound. The model, which is limited to only 15 pieces, is accompanied by a black alligator leather strap.
