Two new members have been added to the Octo Finissimo family, who broke many records for thickness. The world’s thinnest automatic chronograph, the Octo Finissimo GMT Automatic and the ceramic-case Octo Finissimo Ceramic come for those who like to push the boundaries.
Bulgari Octo Finissimo GMT Automatic is a world’s thinnest automatic chronograph with a 42mm x 6,9mm sandblasted titanium case. Behind the sapphire crystal and the case back is the eye catching titanium dial and the magnificent movement. The case is water resistant to 30 meters. Fully manufactured self-finding Caliber BVL 318 is only 3.3mm thick and is capable of offering 55 hours power reserve. The movement can reach such a fine height thanks to the peripheric oscillating rotor. In addition to the chronograph complication, the GMT feature is also available. The price of the watch, which will be sold with a sandblasted titanium bracelet just like the case, is $ 17600.
One of the novelties introduced was the Octo Finissiome Ceramic with a ceramic case and a matching ceramic bracelet model. The case is equipped with sapphire crystals on both sides and is water resistant to 30 meters. Measuring 40mm x 5.5mm the case houses a pair of dial and movement options. BVL 128SK (65 hours power reserve) is the skeleton dial and the BVL 138 (60 hours power reserve) is the standard model. The thickness of the hand-wound (rotorless) movements is only 3.3mm.
