Min. ReadGlashütte Original has refreshed its iconic inverted watch with a new moon phase display and intricate textures. Known for showcasing its technical craftsmanship on the dial, the new PanoLunarInverse enhances this unique design by incorporating a beautifully integrated moon phase.
The PanoLunarInverse follows in the footsteps of the hand-wound PanoInverse and automatic PanoMaticInverse, both renowned for their inverted movements that reveal technical components like the 3/4 plate, the Duplex swan-neck adjustment, and a screwed balance. However, this latest model brings a notable enhancement: the addition of a moon phase display, blending the technical elements of the PanoMaticInverse with the elegant lunar feature of the PanoMaticLunar.
Housed in a 42mm x 12.5mm platinum case, the watch maintains Glashütte Original's signature polished and brushed finish. It is offered with either an alligator nubuck leather strap or a blue synthetic strap made from recycled materials, secured by a platinum folding clasp.
The most striking feature of the PanoLunarInverse is its dial, or rather the absence of a traditional dial, exposing the intricately finished movement. The 3/4 plate is adorned with a pyramid-like guilloche pattern, while the balance bridge with its signature dual swan-neck adjustment remains in its classic position. The double-digit Panorama date sits at 2 o’clock, and the moon phase module takes center stage, complete with a blue aventurine moon disc and laser-engraved moons.
Powered by the newly refined Caliber 91-04, the movement beats at 4Hz with a 45-hour power reserve. The platinum edition of the PanoLunarInverse is limited to 200 pieces, making it a coveted addition for collectors.
