Min. ReadIWC Schaffhausen started a new social media campaign in collaboration with its long-standing brand partner Mercedes-AMG. The new campaign features a short film where the brand’s CEO, Christoph Grainger-Herr makes a special appearance wearing an IWC Ingenieur Chronograph Sport Edition “50th Anniversary of Mercedes-AMG”.
Mercedes-AMG, an iconic name in the world of motor sports, celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. And IWC Schaffhausen introduced Ingenieur Chronograph Sport Edition “50th Anniversary of Mercedes-AMG” model family to celebrate that meaningful occasion.
Now the famous brands started a new social media campaign featuring a short movie. Christopher Grainger-Herr, CEO of the IWC Schaffhausen and a passionate automobile enthusiast, is on the short video for this significant occasion. The IWC Ingenieur Chronograph Sport Edition "50th Anniversary of Mercedes-AMG" is on the wrist of the charismatic CEO driving the new Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC + Coupé through the streets of New York. The video is available with the has tag #SpeedUpInStyle.

The model found in the cult Ingenieur Collection is offered in titanium case measuring 44.3mm in diameter and 15.9mm in height. The case is equipped with scratch resistant sapphire crystals on both sides as well as polished rectangular chronograph pushers and a screw-in winding crown. The dial is laid out in Bi-Compax chronograph style with contrasting sub-counters and a date display at 3 o’clock. The model is powered with the in-house Caliber 89361 which offers a power reserve of 68 hours and a fully visible air cooled brake disc shaped oscillating rotor. The model comes on a black leather strap with white stitching and is limited to 250 units only.
