Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced a brand new collection of five watches inspired by the brand’s legendary Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Polaris model issued back in 1968.
The models in the new collection are all powered with in-house Jaeger-LeCoultre movements. Among the sporty looking models in the collection, 1000 units only Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Polaris Limited Edition attracted a great deal of attention. The new model, which is designed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Polaris of 1968, successfully combines the original model’s retro spirit with contemporary luxury watchmaking.
Let's take a closer look at the models that introduced.
The first model in the new collection is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Automatic model featuring the classic double winding crown design. One of the winding crowns is used to set the time while the other one is used to rotate the inner bezel. Available in a 41mm stainless steel case, the model offers a water resistance rating of 100 meters.
The new model comes with two dial options as black and blue and ticks with the self-winding Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 898/1.

Offering a dial that is inspired by the dashboard of a classic car, the new model comes in a 42mm diameter case that is available in stainless steel or 18K pink gold. The case is water resistant to 100 meters.
The new model is powered by the Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 751 which features a Bi-Compax chronograph function and offers a power reserve of 65 hours when fully wound.

Another new model equipped with chronograph function, Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph WT also features the World Time complication. The feature, which is set by the winding crown at 10 o'clock, allows you to read the time in 23 different cities around the world.
The new model comes in a titanium case measuring 44mm in diameter that is water resistant to 100 meters.
Powered by the Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 752, the new model is offered with two dial options as black and ocean blue.
The new model is offered in a stainless steel case measuring 42mm in diameter. Like the original model produced in 1968, vanilla color SuperLuminova phosphorus material and railway patterned minute indexes are present in the new model as well. Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date model offers a water resistance rating of 200 meters.
The Scuba Diver motif is engraved on the caseback of the model like the original version. Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date model is powered by the self-winding Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 899/1 offering a 38 hour power reserve when fully wound.

The model, which is designed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Polaris produced in 1968, comes in a limited span of 1000 units only. The new model, which retains the iconic three-winding crown design, comes to the fore with its mechanical alarm function.
As in the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date model, the Vanilla color SuperLuminova and the railway patterned minute indexes are also used in this model. The new model comes in a 42mm stainless steel case that is water resistant to 200 meters and beats with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 956 featuring a mechanical alarm function.
