Min. ReadLongines Master Collection, renowned for its timeless elegance, receives a significant update with 15 new references featuring beautifully engraved dials. Launched in 2005, the collection has always been a staple of classic watchmaking, but recent updates have revitalized its appeal.
For the 2022 anniversary, Longines introduced grained dials and Breguet-like numerals, which were met with such enthusiasm that they’ve now become a permanent feature. The latest release includes both 34mm and 40mm models, in sleek steel and luxurious gold options, further enhancing the collection's charm.
The Master Collection is known for its refined simplicity and versatility, but the new models inject a fresh vibrancy. The silver-toned, sandblasted dials now feature 12 engraved Arabic numerals, adding depth and sophistication. Choices of anthracite, yellow gilt, or rose gilt numerals are complemented by matching polished leaf hands. The dials are completed with the classic Longines cursive logo and a beaded minute track.
The cases are crafted from polished steel and offer two-tone options with 18k yellow or rose gold. The 34mm and 40mm sizes, at 9.20mm and 9.35mm in thickness respectively, accommodate various wrist sizes comfortably. Additionally, the watches come with choices of brown, red, green, or blue alligator straps, or an 18k gold bracelet.
Powering these new additions is the Longines-exclusive Caliber L888.5, an evolution of the ETA 2892. This automatic movement boasts a 72-hour power reserve, 3.5Hz frequency, and a silicon balance spring, ensuring both precision and durability.
With this expansion, the Master Collection solidifies its position as a benchmark of classic luxury, now available in a range of elegant and modern options.
