Another limited edition model from the new MontBlanc 4180 Collection is the TwinFly Chronograph version. The timepiece sports my all time favorite complication: second time zone display with day/night and 24h features together with the TwinFly chronograph function.
While the dial is enlivened with the Cotes de Geneve patterns, the Roman numeral indexes add a touch of elegance. The minimized world map figure and day/night indicator are located at 12 o’clock while the date wheel is located at 6 o’clock.
The watch beats with the Caliber MB100.1 at 28800vph and offers 72h power reserve when fully wound.
The timepiece is limited to 1110 pieces only.
The watch features a multi-layer dial made of sapphire crystal. Beside that extra ordinary feature, the Orbis Terrarum is also appreciated by its world time function. The red triangle pointer located at 6 o’clock indicates the time zone. The pusher located at 8 o’clock position changes the time zone.
43mm diameter and 11.8mm height case sports sapphire crystals on both sides and houses the Caliber MB29.20 with a rating of WR50M.
This series feature more modest complications compared to the others in the same collection.
The models are offered in WR50M cases with the following diameters; 4810 Date at 40.5 mm, 4810 Day-Date at 42 mm and 4810 Chronograph at 43 mm.
The last novelty from the 4810 Collection is a pocket watch. The timepiece has functional similarities with the 4810 Orbis Terrarum. 53mm diameter case has a sapphire crystal on the front and an exclusive engraving at the back.
