The Minerva pocket watches made in the 19th and early 20th century inspire Montblanc’s new Star Legacy models.
The new Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date model comes with a 43mm stainless steel case. The front of the watch features a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflection coating. The case, which is resistant to water pressure up to 50 meters, has a transparent case back as well.
The model meets the watch lovers with two different dial colors, ivory, and anthracite with a silver-white edge. Black rhodium plating applied on the Roman numerals, markers, and hands of the anthracite-colored dial while the other model features 18K rose gold accents. Both dials are Super-LumiNova applied for maximum legibility. The date window is also located at 3 o’clock.
The automatic movement, Caliber MB 24.17, that provides an average of 38 hours of power reserve when fully wound, powers the new Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date 43mm.
A ‘sfumato’ brown alligator strap and a stainless steel buckle complement the watch. Ref. 126106 is also available with a stainless steel bracelet. The anthracite dial version comes with a 'sfumato' gray alligator strap (Ref. 126105) or with a stainless steel bracelet (Ref. 126107).
Montblanc Star Legacy Chronograph Day & Date is available with a 43mm stainless steel case. The case is equipped with sapphire crystals on both sides and is water-resistant to 50 meters.
The watch beats with the automatic movement, Caliber MB 25.07 offering an average 48-hour power reserve when fully wound.
The model's ivory dial features silvery-white counters and Guilloché patterns. Roman numerals and hands with 18K rose gold plating display the time, while the chronograph hands are finished in blue. The anthracite version also features black rhodium-plated numbers, markers, and hands. Necessary places are Super-LumiNova applied. The 30-minute and 12-hour counter are located at 12 and 6, and the day-date window is at 3 o’clock.
