Oris, has just added 3 new models to its Big Crown collection. You can find the detailed review about the models which are designed with pastel toned dial colors and 36 mm cases by considering both men and women users.
New pointer date models have 3 different versions. Most of the collection features stainless steel pieces with either blue or green dials; but the special variation of the collection is the one with bronze case. Even though bronze case lost its popularity a bit over the years, brands still continue to produce bronze pieces.
We can say that; 36 mm is a bit small for today’s men fashion but it’s optimum for ladies. Big Crown Pointer Date grabs attention with its iconic bezel and its “big crown” which gives the collection its name. New models offer 50 meters of water resistance.
Dial colors of the collection are a bit unusual; iconic hand designs accompany blue and green pastel dial colors. Thanks to the SuperLuminova coating on the hands and hour markers, the legibility of the piece is at the top level. The date function of the model can be read with the red-tipped hand which comes out from the center.
Automatic Oris Cal.754 runs the Big Crown Pointer Date. Sellite SW 200-1 based mechanism beats at 4Hz and offers 38 hours of power reserve when it is fully wound. The classic red rotor of Oris can be seen through the transparent caseback.
Stainless steel versions of the new collection can be preferred either with metal bracelet or tanned leather strap. Bronze case version is offered with light brown leather strap. In both versions, the straps are accompanied by folding clasps that match the case material.
The list prices for the new models are as follows:
Stainless steel case and leather strap: 1.550 CHF
Stainless steel case and metal bracelet: 1.750 CHF
Bronze case and leather strap: 1.800 CHF
