Min. ReadThe Divers Sixty-Five celebrates Oris's 120th anniversary with a special all-black edition, marking the brand's first full black-on-black watch.
Known as the Hölstein Editions, these watches commemorate the founding of Oris in Hölstein, Switzerland, on June 1, 1904. The 2024 Hölstein Edition features the Oris calibre 400, which offers a five-day power reserve and high resistance to magnetism.
Since 2020, Oris has released unique Hölstein Editions annually. The series began with an all-bronze Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph, followed by a Big Crown Pointer Date in 2021, a Full Steel Worldtimer in 2022, and a purple-dial Aquis in 2023.
Inspired by the 1965 Oris dive watch, the Divers Sixty-Five line, launched in 2015, quickly became popular for its vintage design and affordable price. Despite some criticism of its 100-metre water resistance, it remains a robust everyday watch.
The Oris Hölstein Edition 2024, with a 40mm stainless steel case, bezel, and crown, now sports a black matte DLC finish. The black bezel features a 60-minute scale with raised numerals, and the sealed caseback showcases a special engraving of Oris's teddy bear mascot. The dial, appliques, date wheel, and Super-LumiNova on the hands and markers are all black, complemented by a black rubber strap with a DLC-plated buckle.
Limited to 250 pieces, this edition will be available from June 1, 2024, for CHF 3,900. For more information, visit oris.ch.
