Christophe Claret, one of the independent brands in SIHH 2017, presented the final "Maestro" model before the exhibition.
The brand that has impressed the watch enthusiasts with the innovations they have made over the years, now offers the "Maestro" model combining the traditional Swiss watchmaking and modern design.
Christophe Claret "Maestro" will have different case materials (Grade 5 titanium and 5N pink gold). Designed with a diameter of 42mm, the case has a thickness of 16mm. Waterproofing value of the case is 30 meters.
The titanium version offers blue details in the dial while the pink gold model sports red accents.
There are a few points in the skeleton style dial which attract attention. The first one is the date indicator at 5 o'clock position. The other one is the balance wheel at 7 o'clock. Another function of the mode is a mechanical reminder called MEMO which is located at 4 o'clock position. When the user wants to use the reminder function, he activates the mechanism by pressing the related button. When the job is done, he presses the button again to reset the MEMO function.
Natural sapphire stone in conical form is placed on the 3 eye-catching points in the dial.
Christophe Claret "Maestro" is powered by the Caliber Ref. DMC16. The mechanism, which consists of 342 pieces, beats with 21,600 strokes (3 Hz) per hour. The hand-wound mechanism offers 168 hours (7 days) power reserve when fully wound.
The new timepieces are offered on a black alligator strap.
Both models will be limited production with 88 units. The Titanium model (Ref.MTR.DMC16.100-188) will be CHF 68,000 and the pink gold model (Ref.MTR.DMC16.000-088) will be showcased with CHF 76,000 price tag.
