Roger Dubuis launched the latest novelties for its product line designed exclusively for women named as Velvet Collection at this year's SIHH. The brand will be adding two timepieces to the current product line. The new models are the Blossom Velvet Pink and Velvet Secret Heart.
The Blossom Velvet Pink sports a mother-of-pearl dial with a vivid pink grand feu enamel floral patterns. The case design is actually similar to other Velvet cases in basic details and is set with diamonds.
The Blossom Velvet is powered up by the in-house automatic movement Caliber RD821. Let us remind you that this elegant timepiece will also be introduced in blue.
The other novelty of the Velvet Collection is the Velvet Secret Heart model. The timepiece features a blue sunburst dial with Roman numerals, which is a similar details to those in the current collection of Velvet watches. The case is made of 18K white gold and is set with diamonds in the bezel.
One of the most significant parts of this beautiful timepiece is the bi-retrograde jumping date function thanks to its in-house and Geneva Seal bearing caliber RD821B. The 48 jewel movement offers 48h of power reserve when fully wound.
Beside the striking aesthetics of the Velvet Collection novelties, we are very happy to see Roger Dubuis is actually moving to improve its ladies product line while staying loyal to their well known asset: using high end mechanical and automatic movements.
