Ralph Lauren’s latest Polo Sport collection takes a dynamic leap with bold colors and a contemporary design, departing from the traditional polo player emblem. Introduced in 2018, Ralph Lauren’s Polo watch line has evolved to feature a sportier and more modern aesthetic, marked by vibrant hues and distinctive textures.
The Polo Sport collection is a natural extension of Ralph Lauren’s lifestyle brand, renowned for its preppy elegance. This latest range ditches the classic polo player for a fresh look, highlighted by a 42mm polished stainless steel case and a 12.35mm thickness. The watch features a 60-minute rotating bezel crafted from anodized aluminum in green or blue, with white numerals and markings. With a water resistance of 100 meters, it is both robust and stylish, though the bezel lacks the Polo inscription of previous models.
The dial is a vivid display of colors, featuring a matte blue center with snailing, surrounded by yellow and black rings. A black lacquered chapter ring with wide white luminescent markers and a precision minutes track completes the design. The hands are black lacquered with white Super-LumiNova, and a striking red lacquered central seconds hand adds a pop of color. Branding is prominent with "Polo" and "Ralph Lauren" printed in white at the top of the dial, while the rubber strap comes in orange or red, embossed with "Polo" and highlighted in black.
Powered by the caliber RL200, based on the Sellita SW200-1, this watch offers a 38-hour power reserve and operates at 4Hz. The Polo Sport is priced at EUR 1,690, USD 1,690, or CHF 1,550, available at select Ralph Lauren stores and online.
