When it comes to the dial tones, probably one of the very first colors is white. Mostly due to their versatility and sometimes due to their legibility provided by the contrasting accents or maybe just because of the iconic models, white dial timepieces are always at the top of the preference list. So, we brought together the top 5 watches with white dials.
The first place in our list is taken by the legendary sports chronograph Rolex Daytona. Introduced with the Cerachrom bezel upgrade at the Baselworld 2016 exhibition, the stainless steel Daytona possibly had one of the most important revisions of its history. The new timepiece is offered with tow dial options as black and white like its predecessor.
Our choice is the white dial version which happens to be an excellent match with the black Cerachrom bezel thanks to its contrasting sub-counter chapter rings. The new stainless steel Rolex Daytona, which is considered as one of the best sports chronographs ever, is still a rare watch for a model that has been around for almost two years since its introduction.
There is another iconic chronograph in the second place of our list. Speedmaster, the legendary watch that has been approved by NASA for Space Missions, is one of the most important model families of Omega’s current product line. The version we have here for our list, among many alternatives with different materials, dial colors and movements, is the Omega Speedmaster 57 White Dial (Ref. 3188.8.131.52.04.001).
Offered in a stainless steel case measuring 41.5mm in diameter, the model sports a Bi-Compax chronograph lay-out white dial accompanied with blue hands and indices. The model is powered by the brand’s in-house Caliber Ref. 9300. The self-winding movement features the Co-Axial escapement system and offers a 60 hour power reserve when fully wound.
Glashütte Original, the German origin heavy-hitter of the watch industry gets the third place in our list with its classic three-hand model Senator Excellence. The model sports a beautifully finished white dial with pretty minimalistic lay-out. The dial features Arabic numeral and baton type hour markers in black. The indices are accompanied with blued steel hands where the dial features no extra functions like a date display making us all remember the famous saying “less is more”.
Available in a 40mm diameter stainless steel case, the model is powered by the brand’s in-house movement Caliber Ref.36. Self-winding movement offers an impressive 100 hours power reserve when fully wound.
In the fourth place of our list welcomes one of the top brands of Swiss watchmaking industry in terms of production volume and profitability: Longines. The brand, which offers arguably the most beautiful timepieces of Re-Issue hype under its Heritage Collection, takes place in our list with the Master Collection Ref. L2.6184.108.40.206 model.
Master Collection Ref. The L2.6220.127.116.11 comes in a stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter. The model, which is known as one of the most complicated timepieces among the product line, features a moon phase indicator and a multi-calendar besides its chronograph function. The model sports a beautiful white dial offering a user-friendly lay out and a set of blue accents.
In the fifth place of our list is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic, which is also among the cult designs of the watch industry. Initially designed to withstand the impacts during polo matches played by the British soldiers in India, the Reverso is offered with a flipping case design which makes it one of the most unique timepieces of all.
The model comes in a stainless steel case measuring 45.6mm x 27.4mm. Featuring the famous Guilloche pattern on the center, the white dial is accompanied with a set of blued hands. Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic is powered by the brand’s in-house Caliber Ref.
