Ulysse Nardin Diver Atoll: A Spectacle of Sea-Inspired Colors
Evoking the ever-changing colors of the sea, the latest 39mm Diver flaunts a stunning neon green and blue stone dial.
Ulysse Nardin, known for its marine chronometers, continues its nautical legacy with the new 39mm Diver. This model boasts a mesmerizing neon blue and green stone dial, adding a contemporary twist to the brand’s seafaring tradition.
Released as part of a 2021 trilogy, the 39mm Diver has previously featured gem-set bezels, including the colorful Diver Rainbow and the diamond-studded Diver Starry Night. The latest edition features a 39mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 11mm, combining brushed and polished finishes. Aligning with the Diver collection’s sustainability efforts, 80% of the case’s steel is recycled.
The case, along with its closed case back, ensures a robust 300m water resistance. The unidirectional rotating bezel, adorned with 40 brilliant-cut diamonds, features a 60-minute scale and shimmers in the light.
The dial, crafted from chrysocolla, showcases striking swirls of blue, turquoise, and green, with coppery brown speckles. Each hand-cut dial is unique due to the stone’s natural patterning.
Following the style of previous Diver editions, the dial is adorned with 11 diamond indices. Designed for versatility and resilience, the watch features a date aperture at 6 o’clock. The central hands, including the lollipop seconds hand, and the noon marker are luminescent.
The sealed case back, engraved with a wind rose, houses the in-house automatic movement UN-816, offering a 42-hour power reserve. Known for pioneering silicium technology, Ulysse Nardin equips the movement with a silicon escapement wheel and anchor.
The Ulysse Nardin Diver Atoll is a limited edition of 100 pieces, available with a white rubber strap or a pearly white alligator strap.
