Vacheron Constantin Patrimony x Ora ïto

Marking the 20th anniversary of its Patrimony collection, Vacheron Constantin introduces a new self-winding timepiece in collaboration with French designer Ora ïto, as part of the "One of Not Many" campaign. This limited edition of 100 pieces pays homage to the 1950s-inspired design that has become a signature of the collection since its launch in 2004.

Vintage Elegance Meets Modern Craftsmanship

The new Patrimony model draws inspiration from the vintage aesthetics of the 1950s, reflecting the era's dedication to ultra-thin watchmaking. Key influences include Vacheron Constantin's historical calibers, such as the manual-winding Calibre 1001 and the ultra-thin Calibre 1003, which were pioneering feats in their time. This modern iteration honors these traditions with a 40 mm yellow gold case and a tone-on-tone dial featuring concentric circles, giving it a subtle yet striking appearance.

Uncompromising Attention to Detail

Echoing the brand’s commitment to fine craftsmanship, the dial’s almost imperceptible curvature and intricate details, like the applied hour-markers and the ‘pearl’ minutes track, are meticulously crafted to ensure flawless precision. The watch also boasts a thin bezel, slender baton hands, and a date window at 6 o'clock, which blend seamlessly into the dial's minimalist design.

A Nod to "Simplexity"

Ora ïto’s concept of "Simplexity," the blend of simplicity and complexity, is a driving force behind this collaboration. His vision is perfectly embodied in the new Patrimony self-winding watch, which balances its elegant, understated look with a sophisticated inner mechanism.

Exquisite Movement and Finishing

The sapphire crystal caseback reveals the in-house self-winding Calibre 2450, decorated with circular graining and the Côte de Genève pattern, showcasing the brand's dedication to high horology. Paired with a burgundy calfskin strap, this limited edition model exudes both vintage charm and contemporary flair.
