Legendary chronograph; Zenith Chronomaster Original meets watch lovers with its new dial color. This model is also the first black dial version with tri-color chronograph counters placed in a 1969 case.
The modern version of Zenith's famous A386, the Chronomaster Original is one of the rarest time machines admired not only by chronograph fans but by all watch enthusiasts. We can say that the main reason behind this appreciation is that the design details and color scale of the model have been preserved for decades and transferred to the present day.
The Chronomaster Original is not the first watch where the El Primero caliber meets the black dial. The most popular members of the Chronomaster Sport series have been dominating the chronograph market for a while with both white and black dial options, but Chronomaster Original, unlike the Sport version, serves a completely different audience.
Dimensions of the model with a stainless steel case; 38mm x 13mm. The water resistance value of the watch, is stated as 50 meters and this version has sapphire crystal glasses on the front and back. On this reference's dial, we find classic light-dark gray and blue chronograph subdials. Around the dial, there is a scale with 1/10 second intervals, which facilitates precise time measurement.
Equipped with an in-house automatic caliber 3600, the model has a 60-hour power reserve. The caliber, which has 35 jewels and beats at 5hZ, activates the central hand, which completes a single revolution in 10 seconds, with the start of the chronograph. The mechanism also brings date information to it's user.
You can reach the models offered for sale with a stainless steel bracelet and black calfskin strap - double-sided folding clasp combinations through Zenith boutiques and the brand's website.
