Zenith Defy El Primero 21 Park Lane Edition (Ref. 49.9005.9004.72.R921)

Zenith collaborates with his Mexican partner Park Lane, bringing together technology and gold, one of the oldest elements in history.


Gold is one of the elements that have been used incessantly since the early periods of history. The element representing the value, which is valuable in every community, was used predominantly in religious ceremonies and represented the sun in the Oaxaca region known with its rich gold deposits. Park Lane and Zenith decided that this was the best concept to represent the region and collaborated for a spectacular timepiece.


Defy El Primero 21 Park Lane’s 44mm black ceramic case and bezel offer sandblasted and polished surfaces together. Thus, the case absorbs the light and the skeletonized dial and the movement come forward. The case is equipped with scratch-resistant and anti-glare treated sapphire crystals on both sides and is water-resistant to 100 meters.


The brand’s legendary 1/100-second automatic chronograph movement El Primero 9004 provides a power reserve of approximately 50 hours when fully wound for hour and minute displays, small seconds at 9 o’clock, 30 minutes counter at 3 o’clock, 60 seconds counter at 6 o’clock, and the chronograph power reserve that is located at 12 o’clock. The model has dedicated escapements for the timekeeping and chronograph.


The faceted, gold-plated, Super-LumiNova filled hands and markers display the time in the dial, where black and gold tones are abundantly used.


To give the watch a distinctive look, the Defy El Primero 21 Park Lane comes with a Cordura effect black rubber strap (27.00.2322.921) or a crocodile black rubber strap (27.00.2322.582). The straps are complemented by a black DLC-coated titanium buckle.


The model, which is limited to 60 units, will be available in Mexico only.
