A. Lange & Söhne, celebrates its 25th year with the most iconic model of the brand; “Lange 1 25th Anniversary”.
When the calendars showed October 25, 1994, the most important event in the history of A. Lange & Söhne was taking place. Walter Lange and Günter Bumluin, the founders of the brand, presented the collection of four new models including Lange 1 at the Dresden Palace. In those years, Lange 1 was a game changer with its twin barrels, large date window and asymmetric dial arrangement.
After 25 years, A. Lange & Söhne, whose name is printed in gold letters in the history of luxury watchmaking, is re-launched with its most special version of the magnificent Lange 1. Lange 1 25th Anniversary is limited to 250 pieces only and comes in an 18K white gold case measuring 38.5mm x 10.7mm. The silver-colored dial and the blued hands/indices seen through the clear sapphire crystal is simply breathtaking. The asymmetric dial arrangement features small seconds, large date display and power reserve indicator in addition to the hour and minute hand.
The model is powered by the amazing Caliber Ref. L121.1, which has been debuted in 2015. The 368 parts (43 jewels) hand-wound movement beats at 21600vph and offers a power reserve of 72 hours when fully wound. Featuring a hand made balance wheel and a main plate made of German steel, the movement measures 30,6mm x 5,7mm. The 25 mark in the date disk is written in red which is another impressive detail that refers to the 25th anniversary of the famous brand.
A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 25th Anniversary comes on a blue alligator strap that is secured by an 18K white gold buckle. Each timepiece is individually numbered.
