Bulgari, one of the collectors' favorite brands, introduced 2020 novelties to watch lovers in Dubai.
Bulgari’s two iconic collections continue to grow with Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon and Divas’ Dream. Last year Bulgari's cult model Serpenti had a new design with Serpenti Seduttori Born to Be Gold. Now Serpenti Seduttori continues to expand and impress with its new models Born to Be Shine, incorporating the BVL 150 movement and tourbillon, which is very rare in women’s models.
The new Seduttori movement represents the knowledge of Swiss watchmaking and the savoir-faire synthesis of jewelry making and ranks at the top as the smallest tourbillon on the market. As such, the models are candidates to revive the lost tradition of small mechanical movements in which were replaced by Quartz calibers in the early 70s.
The new Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon models come in a choice of diamond-set pink or white gold cases and leather straps, as well as a choice of diamond-set white gold with full diamonds bracelet. In addition to these styles, five new Serpenti Seduttori versions complete the 2020 range. The designs reinterpret the typical smooth snakeskin with precious diamonds and pink or white gold as well as steel.
In the latest models of the Divas’ Dream collection, the Italian jewelry designer continues to push the limits of form and function. The new Divas’ Dream Minute Repeater Malachite, which combines jewelry design and watchmaking craftsmanship with Diva, one of Bulgari's most memorable designs, with an extraordinary movement, BVL362, to create the thinnest women’s ‘minute repeater’ model ever.
The Divas’ Dream Minute Repeater Malachite is completed with a green malachite dial that is decorated with diamonds expressing Bulgari's glamorous style. Besides, the azure lapis lazuli dial and the Divas’ Dream Peacock and Lapis Lazuli models embellished with real peacock feather represent the brand's rich passion for color and its devotion to extraordinary materials.
It seems that these new Divas’ Dream models set Bulgari apart from both jewelers and watchmakers.
The record-breaking Octo Finissimo collection, with five new models, seems to be marking the New Year. Ranging from matt/polished steel finishes and from pink gold to ceramic, the new models using the sandblasting techniques are among the notable novelties.
One of the most prominent models in Dubai is the Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater, which is powered by the BVL 362 manufacture hand-wound movement with minute repeater function.
The minute repeater is one of the most acclaimed complications of all time. The openings in place of the hour markers and the cutout sub-dial design at 6 o'clock position increase the resonance inside the case, thus optimizing the sound effect.
The pusher activating the tapping device is located in the middle of the case at 9 o'clock position. The manufacture movement offers a user-friendly 42-hour power reserve when fully wound.
Octo Finissimo blends Italian design with Swiss engineering by two new matt/polished Octo Finissimo Automatic Satin-Polished Steel and Octo Finissimo Automatic Satin-Polished Rose Gold models. Both models beat with the 2.23mm thin BVL 138 Finissimo movement and stand out with a polished black lacquer dial. The rose gold model comes on a crocodile leather strap.
What's new in the Octo collection is not limited to these models. In addition to the sandblasted ceramic dial, the new Octo Finissimo Automatic in Black Sandblast-Polished Ceramic stands out with its sandblasted and polished ceramic case and ring.
