Known for its high horology craftsmanship at an accessible price, the C1 Bel Canto series first launched in 2022, impressing enthusiasts with a refined sonnerie au passage feature. The Classic edition brings subtle yet noteworthy updates to this celebrated watch.
Keeping the robust 41mm diameter and 48mm lug-to-lug proportions, the Grade 5 titanium case still combines brushed and polished finishes. The new model, however, adds a sapphire box-type crystal and a sophisticated laser-etched guilloche dial plate in colors like blue, gold, green, and silver, which enhances the watch’s classic charm. Water resistance remains at 30 meters.
A redesigned time dial with circular-brushed detailing and Roman numerals replaces the earlier baton indices, providing a clear, timeless look. The minute track, now on a stepped outer ring with dot markers, makes precise reading effortless. Custom hands in colors matching each dial—black for gold, silver-tone for blue and green, and blue for silver—further personalize each version. The movement remains the reliable Sellita SW200-1 automatic with a 38-hour power reserve and Frank Stelzer’s FS01 striking hour module. Known for adapting similar features for MeisterSinger’s Bell Hora, Stelzer’s work reinforces the accessible, high-end craftsmanship of this series.
