Corum, a classic among watch enthusiasts with its maritime-themed models and extra ordinary Golden Bridge Collection timepieces that are equipped with cutting edge technologies and unique architecture, introduced its new “La Grande Vie” Collection aiming women clientele.
By now, the newly introduced collection includes three different models. Let’s take a closer look at those models that are separated by their striking dial colors.
The models in the new “La Grande Vie” Collection (meaning “Great Life” in French) is offered in Grado 2 lightweight titanium alloy cases measuring 42mm in diameter and 9.05mm in height. The cases are equipped with scratch resistant sapphire crystals on both sides (front crystal is double AR coated) and a stylish Corum signed winding crown. Models are water resistant to 50 meters / 5 bars.
For the models in the new collection, quite remarkable dial colors are chosen. The dials, which are made of brass, feature radiant sun-ray pattern surfaces that changes color upon different angles of light. With their vivid tones, the dials successfully highlight the feminine side of the models.
Blue, red and green background colors were used in the dials that are accompanied by sun-ray patterns that reach goes out from the center. Designed in two-hand style, the model’s dials are equipped with classic Dauphine hands in open works style and long baton shaped hour markers that match with the sun-ray surface patterns. The dials come without a second hand. The markings are also minimal. Another interesting feature of the dial that draws attention is the 12:00 hour marker is replaced by a large key at noon – a large Corum logo – to leave the brand’s mark. Therefore, in the absence of the brand name on the dial, only the watch aficionados will know the identity of the brand that created La Grande Vie through this key logo.
All models in the new collection are powered by the Corum 082 movement. Based on the Sellita SW300, self-winding movement operates at 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers 42 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
Corum "La Grande Vie" Collection models are offered on alligator pattern calf leather straps that are designed in harmony with the dial colors. The straps are secured by Corum signed pin buckles made of stainless steel.
