Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Bosporus Blue, which was introduced to the likes of watch enthusiasts via an exclusive event held in Turkey earlier this year, is under the spotlight.
The model, which was introduced after the previously released Turkey themed models Classic Fusion Bodrum Blue and Classic Fusion Turkish Coffee, attracts attention with details that tribute to Istanbul.
The model comes in a Classic Fusion style case measuring 45mm in diameter and 13.40mm in height. Made of glossy and matt blue ceramic, the case is equipped with anti-glare coated scratch resistant sapphire crystals in both sides and is water resistant to 50 meters / 5 bars. The case sports a polished titanium winding crown with Hublot logo and a set of chronograph pushers as well as a blue ceramic case back engraved with “SPECIAL EDITION” and limited edition serials.
Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Bosporus Blue comes with a semi-skeletonized dial. Laid out in Bi-Compax chronograph form, the dial sports a pair of sub-counters with blue background that matches with the overall color scheme of the model. The scale for hours/minutes scale in finished in black. Date display is located at 6 o’clock again with a skeletonized date disk.
The model is powered by the Caliber HUB1155. 207 pieces/60n jewels self-winding chronograph movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound.
Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Bosporus Blue is available with a choice of two rubber lined textile straps in blue and black. The straps, accompanied by a stainless steel folding clasp, can be easily removed and mounted thanks to the brand’s patented fast strap change system.
Limited to a span of 34 units only, which is also the car plate code of Istanbul, the model is available with a MSRP of 21.200 CHF.
