As the Official Timekeeper of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup and World Championships, Longines continues its sporting legacy by unveiling the Longines Conquest Chrono Ski Edition in honor of the 48th FIS Alpine Ski World Championship in Saalbach, Austria. This limited edition enhances the acclaimed Conquest Chronograph, introduced in 2023, with exclusive design elements appealing to sports and watch enthusiasts alike—an iconic timepiece also worn by skier Marco Odermatt.
Crafted with a robust 42mm stainless steel case, this special edition boasts a water resistance of 100m and a tachymeter bezel featuring a black ceramic insert. A multi-layer anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the fluted screw-down crown at 3 o’clock is reinforced by a guard. The caseback features a unique engraved image of an alpine skier with the inscriptions “Saalbach 2025 – FIS Alpine World Ski Championships” and “Limited Edition – One of 2025.”
The anthracite dial, adorned with a vertical satin finish, adds sophistication to the sporty design. Recessed black sub-dials—displaying small seconds at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6, and a 30-minute counter at 9—add depth, while red Super-LumiNova accents on the indices ensure excellent readability. The polished hour and minute hands, with luminous stripes, complement the red-tipped central chronograph hand and vibrant red sub-dial hands.
Powered by the Longines L898.5 automatic calibre, an evolution of the ETA 2892, the Conquest Chrono Ski Edition includes a silicon balance spring and magnetic-resistant components. With a frequency of 28,800 vibrations/hour and a 59-hour power reserve, it delivers precision and resilience.
This edition comes with both a stainless steel bracelet and a black rubber strap, each with secure folding clasps. The Conquest Chrono Ski Edition is limited to 2,025 pieces.
