Min. ReadLongines adds a new reference to its cult model family HydroConquest collection in the diver's watch segment, which draws attention with its vintage-inspired details.
The HydroConquest Collection, which has been in the Longines product group since 2007, is known as the successful model family of the well-established brand in the modern diver's watch segment. With its updates in 2018, the model family, equipped with 41mm and 43mm case options, as well as ceramic bezel enamel, rubber strap alternative, and improved movement, continues to expand with a new model that draws attention with its vintage-inspired details.
The modern HydroConquest style stainless steel case, designed with a diameter of 41mm, is accompanied by a diver-type bezel and a Longines-signed screw-in winding crown. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating serves on the inside of the green ceramic insert bezel. The case with a screwed case back is resistant to water pressure up to 300 meters.
The dial, which has a matte black and grainy appearance, is accompanied by numeral and round markers, as well as a set of unique hands that have become the signature of the HydroConquest model family. The stylish dial has a date window at the 3 o'clock position. Cream-colored Super-LumiNOVA phosphor-applied components both reinforce the model's retro-oriented design and provide adequate legibility in low-light environments.
The Longines Caliber L888 gives life to the new model. The new generation automatic movement based on the ETA A31.L02 beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a power reserve of 3 days/72 hours when fully wound. The model, available with a metal bracelet (L3.781.4.05.6) and a green textile strap (L3.781.4.05.2), retails at a list price of EUR 1,950.
