Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Boutique-Exclusive Collection

Omega expands the Planet Ocean 600m, its successful model family in the diver's watch segment, with six new references that will be available only through the brand's boutiques.

The Planet Ocean collection, which was added to the brand's catalogs in 2005 and launched as a more powerful and professional-use version of the legendary Seamaster Professional 300 series, continues to expand with brand-new models. The new models, which stand out with their color palette of earth tones, can only be purchased from the brand's boutiques.

Spanning the classic 43.5mm time and date and 45.5mm chronograph models, all made of satin-finished stainless steel, these new references favor earthy tones. The first duo uses a gunmetal color scheme that includes a gray electroplating treatment on the sandblasted dial, as well as beige Super-LumiNova inserts on the PVD-coated steel hands and indexes, and beige or white transfer on the dial. This metalized look is complemented by a brushed black ceramic bezel ring with a Liquidmetal diving scale. The same ceramic material also stands out on the chronograph pushers. Each model comes with an integrated dark gray rubber strap with patterned beige and dark gray stitching.

The next duo of Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m boutique editions offers a silver and green color scheme. Stainless steel dials stand out with their vertical brushed green detail. While this color is used for the large numeral indices applied in the time and date model, there are green ceramic sub-dials on the chronograph. The dial features lines of text printed in green or black, a silver-tone date disc, and white Super-LumiNova inserts. Both watches are equipped with a brushed green ceramic bezel ring with a Liquidmetal diving scale and come with a green rubber strap with patterned, light gray, and green stitching.

Two beige-colored Planet Ocean 600m models join the collection as boutique-exclusive models with bronze details. The dial shines with sandblasted beige lacquer, and bronze silicon nitride ceramic subdials are added to the chronograph. Indices, numerals, and hands stand out with their gray PVD detail with a brushed surface and white SLN inserts. Both editions feature contrasting text in brown and black. The bezel comes in bronze color, a new tone for the brand, and is made of brushed silicon nitride ceramic material. The new models come with a beige rubber strap with a pattern and white stitching.

Models with time and date features are stated to be 43.5 mm in diameter, 16.2 mm in height, and 49.3 mm in length. Chronograph versions are designed with a diameter of 45.5 mm, a thickness of 19 mm, and a length of 52.3 mm. All versions have sapphire crystals on both sides, a helium release valve at 10 o'clock, a screw-down crown, a NAIAD LOCK case back, and water resistance up to 600 meters. Models with time and date displays come to life with the in-house automatic Master Chronometer Caliber 8900 with a 60-hour power reserve. Chronograph models come with the integrated, in-house automatic Master Chronometer Caliber 9900 with a 60-hour power reserve. All versions are fixed to the wrist with a steel folding buckle.
