Omega has introduced two new bicolor Speedmaster Moonwatch models, combining stainless steel with the brand’s proprietary Moonshine (yellow) and Sedna (pink) gold alloys. Known for its stainless steel construction, the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch has also featured in precious metals like Moonshine, Canopus, and Sedna gold. The latest additions follow the recent trend of two-tone watches.
### Technical Overview
These new models maintain the classic Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch design. They feature a 42mm asymmetrical case, a sapphire sandwich construction, and the in-house calibre 3861, which is Master Chronometer-certified and equipped with a co-axial escapement.
### New Features
The steel-and-gold Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch models bring back the 1983 design (reference 145.0022), incorporating modern touches. They include steel-and-gold bracelets, gold crowns, pushers, and external bezels, as well as two-tone dials with gold accents. The bezel inserts are ceramic, utilizing Ceragold technology for the tachymeter scale.
