Grand Seiko introduced, the SLGH021 Genbi Valley, featuring a stunning green textured dial inspired by the Japanese landscape. This new addition to the Evolution 9 Style series boasts a sophisticated Hi-Beat movement and an elegant case design, making it a highly anticipated release.
Drawing inspiration from the brand's "Grammar of Design" established in 1967, the SLGH021 continues the legacy with its refined aesthetics and technical prowess. It shares the same dimensions and specifications as previous models in the series but introduces Ever-Brilliant steel, a durable and corrosion-resistant alloy, for both the case and bracelet.
The dial of the SLGH021 is a highlight, capturing the beauty of the Genbi Valley with its mesmerizing green hue and textured surface reminiscent of Kirazuri painting technique. Enhanced legibility is ensured with widened indices and a framed date window, all illuminated by Zaratsu-polished surfaces.
Underneath the captivating exterior lies Grand Seiko's new Hi-Beat calibre 9SA5, featuring a Dual Impulse Escapement and an impressive 80-hour power reserve. Limited to just 1,000 pieces, the SLGH021 "Genbi Valley" will be available from June 1st, 2024, at select Grand Seiko outlets.
