Min. ReadHublot continues to push the boundaries of luxury watchmaking with the Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM, unveiled at LVMH Watch Week 2025. Limited to just 18 pieces, this remarkable timepiece features a case crafted from the advanced SAXEM material, designed originally for the satellite industry. SAXEM, an acronym for “Sapphire Aluminum oXide and rare Earth Mineral,” offers a vibrant emerald-green transparency, achieved through rare earth elements, making it a superior alternative to synthetic sapphire.
The 44mm case, complemented by a smoked sapphire dial, displays the intricate HUB6035 automatic movement. With 72 hours of power reserve, this skeletonized caliber operates at 21,600vph and incorporates elements like a black-finished 22k gold micro-rotor. The green and black design theme extends to the black Super-LumiNova-coated hands and markers, offering a luminous green glow in low light.
Water-resistant to 30 meters, the watch includes three strap options—a black textured rubber strap, a transparent green rubber strap, and a black Velcro strap—easily interchangeable using Hublot’s One Click system.
