Min. ReadHublot, deeply rooted in contemporary pop culture, continues its brand partnership with Richard Orlinski, one of the colorful figures of modern art, with two new models. Models bearing the artist's signature lines attract attention with their Tourbillon features as well as their vibrant colors.
The new collection includes two editions: Yellow Magic and Sky Blue. Let's take a closer look at the models, each limited to 30 pieces.
The new models come with cases designed with a diameter of 45mm and a height of 10.6mm. The cases, which carry the artist's classic style to the wrists with the intense use of facets, are produced from shiny ceramic material in yellow (Yellow Magic) and light blue (Sky Blue). Stylish cases with sapphire crystal glasses with anti-reflective coating on both sides offer resistance to 30 meters of water pressure.
Both models feature skeleton-style dials that are compatible with Orlinski's modern lines. The dials have yellow or silver hands and indexes, and there is a Tourbillon feature escapement at 6 o'clock and a power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock.
Caliber HUB6021 works in the new models. The 183-piece/25-jewel hand-wound movement features a timekeeping feature as well as a power reserve indicator and 1-minute Tourbillon functions. The caliber, which reveals all its beauty thanks to the sapphire crystal glasses on both sides of the case and its skeleton-style architecture, also impresses with its 115 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
Sporty models are available on rubber straps designed to match the eye-catching colors of the cases. Hublot-signed folding buckles serve at the ends of the straps.
The new models retails CHF 90,000 per each colorway.
