Omega and Swatch continue to innovate with their latest MoonSwatch releases, drawing inspiration from Earth itself. These three new models – "Polar Lights," "Desert," and "Lava" – showcase the creativity and craftsmanship we've come to expect.
The "Mission on Earth – Polar Lights" features a greenish-turquoise case and hands, with a dial adorned with silver flakes reminiscent of aventurine glass. The "Mission on Earth – Desert" comes in a sandy hue, with a taupe dial and strap inspired by the vast deserts covering a fifth of the world's land.
The "Mission on Earth – Lava" stands out with its homage to volcanic lava and the iconic Speedmaster "Ultraman." It boasts an orange seconds hand and radial numerals on the subdials, echoing Omega's Alaska II and III projects.
These new models will be available at selected Swatch stores starting Saturday, June 15.
The MoonSwatch collaboration has been a game-changer in the watch world, making luxury watches accessible and appealing to a broader audience. These Earth-inspired designs continue this trend, offering something fresh and engaging.
From the sparkling "Polar Lights" to the nod to the "Ultraman" in the "Lava," and the serene tones of the "Desert," each watch has its unique charm. While the "Desert" may seem understated, its classic look is reminiscent of previous successes like the "Mission to Saturn" and "Mission to Jupiter."
