With the Big Crown Bronze Pointer Date, Oris introduces a model that offers elegance and sportiness together.
Many manufacturers strive for materials that are resistant to wear, scratches and aging effects of time, while others prefer to produce watches that change in time to accompany our bodies and souls. Bronze watches are exactly the product of the second philosophy.
The Swiss watchmaker Oris is preparing to bring the unique look and feel of the bronze to our wrists with the new Bronze casing Big Crown Bronze Pointer Date. Moreover, the use of bronze is not limited to the case. Beside the Bezel and the winding crown, the watch has a dial made of bronze and aims to be a pioneer with this in the sector. All dials are exposed to various chemicals in the Oris factory and then the top layer is coated with lacquer. This means that each watch has a different bronze dial.
When we look at the front of the watch with a 40mm diameter case, the embellishment around the bezel and the details on the dial greet us with a unique stance. The 50 meters water-resistant case is equipped with a sapphire crystal on the front side and a mineral crystal case back at the rear side.
The model features the automatic Caliber 754 developed by Oris. The movement, based on the Sellita SW200, has 26 jewels, beats at 28800vph and has a 38-hour power reserve.
The Oris Big Crown Bronze Pointer Date comes with a brown leather strap that matches the case and dial.
