Panerai begins the year with the Luminor Tre Giorni PAM01628, a model that flawlessly combines the brand’s storied heritage with modern craftsmanship. Designed for enthusiasts who admire Panerai's bold aesthetics, this watch is massive, functional, and exudes understated elegance.
The 47mm x 15.1mm stainless steel case is water-resistant up to 100 meters and features the signature crown-locking system. Its matte, patinated finish, achieved through hand-finishing, mimics natural wear for a rugged yet refined look, while select brushed accents provide contrast. The box-shaped sapphire crystal protects the grainy grey sandwich dial, which showcases Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9, complemented by bar indices and luminous beige Super-LumiNova beneath the cut-out markers. The dial subtly darkens toward the edges, nearly black, with gold-colored lume-coated hands completing the iconic design.
Inside, the in-house caliber P.3000 powers the watch. This hand-wound movement, visible through the sapphire case back, features large, polished bridges and a robust 11.7mm balance wheel. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, the caliber offers a three-day power reserve through twin spring barrels. Composed of 161 parts and 21 jewels, it showcases Panerai’s minimalist, technical styling.
Completing the rugged aesthetic is a dark brown calf-leather strap with contrasting beige stitching, paired with a brushed steel pin buckle. A black rubber strap is also included, ensuring versatility.
