The latest Carbon Gold Collection from the world famous luxury watchmaker Bulgari hit the stores.
Established in Italy (1884) as a jewellery brand, Bulgari has widened its product range and became one of the movers and shakers of the industry. Being recognized by its signature brand name engraving on its products, Bulgari is considered as a synonym to luxury shopping.
Bulgari’s luxury timepieces collection celebrated its 40th anniversary last year. The collection featured very important models in terms of horology like the world’s thinnest tourbillion escapement movement model launched in 2014 and the thinnest minute repeater watch ever made Bulgari Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater presented in 2016. The Bulgari we have here today is the latest Bulgari Bulgari Carbon Gold model.
The modern version bears a number of similarities with the original version issued in 1975. What makes a model “iconic” is its timeless and unique design and Bulgari Bulgari Carbon Gold is no exception.
The new model is offered in carbon/gold treated stainless steel case making the watch more durable. The case measures 40mm diameter. Thanks to its modern and optimally sized case, the watch offers utmost wearing comfort making a strong alternative for women as well. WR30M rating may sound a little less when compared with today’s modern wristwatches however, I am sure nobody would like to get this delicate, leather strap watch wet.
The plate with the 1884 engraving located on the right side of the case tributes to the brand’s establishment date.
Bulgari Bulgari Carbon Gold Collection is offered with three different dial colors as black, brown and blue. All dials are matt finished and accompanied with 18K pink gold hands and indices matching with the winding crown in gold.
The new model is powered with the brands Caliber Ref. B77. The self winding movement beats at 28800vph and offers 42h power reserve when fully wound. The movement can be seen through the sapphire crystal caseback.
Bulgari Bulgari Carbon Gold is offered on a leather strap but, not a usual one. The strap features the same stranded design which was also used in the very first Bulgari Roma Gold Digital Limited Edition watch issued in 1975. Despite its attractive design, the durability part is a little un-clear as the strap looks more prone to wear than the standard ones.
All dial options are available at the boutiques with a MSRP of 2900,00 EUR.
